topped the Oakland Athletics by a score of 6 to 0 at Fenway
Park.

Wakefield(3-1) simply dominated Oakland. He surrendered only 4 hits and 2
walks in 9 innings lowering his ERA to 3.24. The right-handed Wakefield had
his no-hit bid broken up by Marco Scutaro who singled with one out in the 6th

Dan Haren(3-3) ended up with the loss. He gave up 6 runs in 5 and 1/3 innings
