Despite outhitting the Braves 8-6, Phils lose the game 2-1 as 2 homers by Adam Laroche is the difference. The Phillies run also came on a homerun by Pat Burrell. John Lieber has now given up 15 homeruns in almost 60 innings of work (ugh). That explains why he is 2-5!!

Adam Laroche rocketed 2 homeruns as the Atlanta Braves outscored the

Atlanta scored 1 run in the 4th inning. Laroche lofted a solo-blast 'downtown'
(his 8th of the season).  The pitchers took over after the 4th inning as
neither team was able to score again.  
 
Horacio Ramirez(5-1) got the win allowing 1 run in 8 innings. Chris Reitsma
earned his 11th save.  The losing pitcher was Jon Lieber(2-5).  He pitched 6
innings giving up 5 hits and no walks.
