July 1, 2005 Red Sox 7, Blue Jays 3
Strat-O-Matic Report
Sox were outhit by the Blue Jays 8-6, but made their hits count with a Bellhorn 3-run homer and Mirabelli's 2-run shot. The other two runs scored when old friend Shea Hillenbrand threw over the first basemans head with the bases loaded. Nice 5 inning, one hit relief by Jays hurler Scott Downs, but the Jays couldn't peck away at the Sox lead. Foulke gets a garbage save for save number 20, as he came into the game with two runners on, one out, and a 4 run lead.
