Sox win their 6th straight and climb to within one game of .500, the best record of the season. Arroyo pitches into the 8th for the third straight start, as the bullpen is spared a lot of innings. Orioles did score 3 off of Scott Cassidy, but it didn't make a difference. Hard to believe, but that ERA for Sidney Ponson is correct at 9.04. It actually went down after this game, believe it or not.

Bronson Arroyo(7-2) had a solid outing for Boston.  He allowed 6 hits and 2
walks in 7 and 1/3 innings reducing his ERA from 4.88 to 4.64.  Baltimore was
out-hit by Boston, 15 hits to 11.  
 
Sidney Ponson(4-11) took the loss.  He surrendered 10 hits and 1 walk in 6
innings.
