Phillies run on all cylinders as their bats smash David Wells ( 2 2/3 inn, 7 runs) as the Sox relievers offer no relief. Even pitcher Brett Myers got into the act, hitting 3 doubles!! Big Papi's 20th homer is the lone Sox highlight.

Chase Utley hit a homerun and had 2 RBI as the Philadelphia Phillies destroyed
the Boston Red Sox by a score of 15 to 2 at Citizen's Bank Park.
In the 2nd inning Philadelphia went on top for good when they scored 3 runs on
3 hits. That was all the runs Brett Myers(9-3) needed. Philadelphia bats
were hot in the 3rd inning which saw them plate 7 runs on 7 hits.
Philadelphia had 19 hits overall, while Boston had 9.
The losing pitcher was David Wells(2-5). He was knocked around pretty good,
giving up 7 runs in 2 and 2/3 innings.
